Dojo Events, Workshops, and Other Announcements!

Our regular classes for adults & teens continue to meet on all holidays except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Our Family Aikido Program closes for some holidays and for Spring Break and Winter Break — all upcoming closures will be listed on this page.

FREE AIKIDO FOR KIDS & PARENTS
Tuesdays & Thursdays in September. For the whole month of September, new students can train in our award-winning Family Aikido Program for free. Open to kids age 7 and up, and parents are also welcome to join in.

Tuesday, November 20th: No Family Aikido Program class today. The Tuesday evening adult/teen class will still meet as usual.

Thursday, November 22nd: No classes — dojo closed for Thanksgiving Day.

Monday, December 24th: We are OPEN for class on Christmas Eve.

Tuesday, December 25th: No classes — dojo closed for Christmas Day.

Tuesday, December 25th through Thursday, January 3rd: Family Aikido Program closed for Winter Break (other classes meet as usual).

Monday, December 31st: We are OPEN for class on New Year’s Eve.

 

AND COMING IN 2019…

Tuesday, January 1st: We are OPEN for class on New Year’s Day.

Tuesday, January 8th: Family Aikido Program classes resume.

Sunday, February 24th: Longtime dojo member Alan Hodges tests for sandan (3rd degree black belt). If you’re a dojo member, come join us on the mat for training and then for the test. And if you’re a member of the broader dojo community, come watch the test! Show up at 12:30pm if you’ll be on the mat, or at 2:30pm if you’re watching. We’ll finish up at 4pm and then go out and celebrate.

We’ll finish up at 4pm and then go out and celebrate.

We’ll finish up at 4pm and then go out and celebrate.
