Aikido, the Way of Harmony

HighfallAIKIDO is a martial art that emphasizes gracefully handling aggressors by working in harmony with their power.

Aikido training is intense, vigorous and fun. Aikido cultivates a fluid power that comes from harmonious, grounded, full-body movement, rather than from physical size or muscular effort.

Aikido is also a practice for cultivating harmony in one’s own body and mind, and in one’s relationships with others and with the world.

AIKIDO SHUSEKAI is an independent school of Aikido, founded by Nick Walker Sensei and Azzia Walker Sensei to provide Aikido training for adults, teens, and children in a supportive, cooperative, friendly learning environment.

We are solidly grounded in martial arts tradition while at the same time encouraging of personal experimentation and creative exploration. We are committed to creating a dojo community that is welcoming, safe, joyful, and inclusive.
